We have watched these movies and we have particularly liked the movies BlacKkKlansman and Green Book.

BlacKkKlansman, from Spike Lee

This movie, awarded during 2018 Cannes Festival and multi-nominated is a thriller that tells the stunning and true story of Ron Stallworth, first black policeman of Colorado Springs city. With an unwavering self-assurance, he succeeded to infiltrate the Ku Klux Klan.

Green Book, from Peter Farrelly

Green Book has received 3 Golden Globes beginning of January and the movie is nominated many times in the 2019 BAFTAS and Oscars (including Best Motion Picture). In 1962, during segregation, an Italian American bouncer, Tony Lipp, gently xenophobic, is recruited as a driver and protector for Dr Don Shirley, a black world renowned pianist, for a tour in the southern conservative states of the USA. Tony rely on the Green Book, a travel guide, to detect facilities that welcome non-white individuals.
